Eligibility:*The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has a strategic ambition of being a leading research faculty. Candidates for these fellowships will be selected in accordance with this, and expected to be in the upper segment of their class with respect to academic credentials.*We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in environmental chemistry, environmental physics or related fields and proven hands-on experience in mass spectrometry (PTR-MS and related techniques, IMS-MS, ToF-MS). Experience in atmospheric chemistry field or laboratory work is recommended. Candidates must be willing to work in close collaboration with the other group members and to spend extended periods of time (> 1 month) in the field or abroad. Good written communication skills in English are essential.
*The purpose of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a PhD degree.
*The fellowship requires admission to the PhD program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The application to the PhD program must be submitted to the department no later than two months after taking up the position. For more information see here and here.
