Eligibility:	*The Scholarships will be known as the Faculty of Arts Masters/ Honours/ PGDip Scholarships.*To take up and be paid the Scholarship the recipient must have enrolled and paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time or part-time study towards an approved Masters, Bachelor (Honours) degree or Postgraduate Diploma in the Faculty of Arts.*The Scholarships are tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand. *A Scholarship will automatically cease to be available to a student who through withdrawal or failure to meet any programme requirements is no longer eligible to pursue the programme of study for which the Scholarship has been offered.
Important Information:	The basis of selection is academic merit. This will be measured by the grade point average assessed over the applicant’s two most recent years of equivalent full-time study.
