AlThuraya Foundation and Cambridge Trust are pleased to announce the launch of AlThuraya Cambridge Scholarship starting from Fall 17/18.

Arab learners seeking to complete a master's degree at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
What:
Partial scholarship for Arab students to complete their master's degrees at University of Cambridge in 53 specializations across the fields of engineering, sciences, technology, and others (see website for details). In addition to the scholarship the program offers mentoring.
When:
Applicants need to be accepted into the program at Cambridge according to their application deadlines. Scholarships are given at the start of programs.

Deadline to Apply:
Kindly check the program’s page on the university website for deadlines, as they vary, but they are generally between November and January. Ensure to apply before the funding deadline, which is different from the program’s deadline.

Other Details:
Interested students are required to apply directly to University of Cambridge and be accepted into the program, after which they will go through a screening process by AlThuraya Foundation. No separate application is required. Applicants must have an Arab citizenship and be residing their country, with the exception of Syrian refugees who are not required to be residing in Arab countries, and of Palestinians residing in Israel.

Application Process:
Prospective students must apply directly to their intended program of study. No separate application required to be considered for the scholarship.
Please apply to your particular course and complete the 'Funding' section in the online Applicant Portal in order to be considered for funding.
The University of Cambridge handles admissions. If student is eligible for scholarship, (s)he will be referred to Cambridge Trust. Once they are shortlisted by the Cambridge Trust for the program, they will be referred to AlThuraya Foundation for a final assessment.
Applications for Fall 2018/2019 are now open.
Funding deadlines vary from program to program; some are as early as mid-November (e.g. LLM program), most programs' deadlines are on December 6th, 2017 and January 4th, 2018. Please refer to your particular course for specific deadlines.
