These postgraduate studentships are applicable to new entrants as well as continuing students on the Ph.D. Register

What are the requirements for this Award?

Postgraduate studentships are available to new entrants as well as continuing students on the full-time Ph.D. register for entry in September and/or the following March of the same academic year (e.g. September 2015 and/or March 2016). The postgraduate Studentships aim to support and develop gifted research students. They are awarded competitively on academic merit.

How much would I receive?

The postgraduate studentship fully covers EU or non-EU fee and an annual maintenance of €6,500 for three years.

How would this be paid?

Fees will be covered and maintenance is payable monthly via Trinity College payroll directly to your bank account.

Will I have any teaching obligations?

The holder of a postgraduate studentship is required to engage in teaching-related activities, as advised by the appropriate Director of Teaching and Learning (Postgraduate) or his/her nominee, to a maximum of 6 hours per week in teaching term. It is also important to be aware that income received by the award recipient from other sources (such as private tuition, research funding), can be to the maximum annual income level of €18,000 excluding fees but including the studentship maintenance. The receipt of any additional funding must be notified immediately to the Graduate Studies Office and the Staff Office payroll. Postgraduate studentships cannot continue beyond the fourth year on the Ph.D. register.

How do I apply?

New entrants to the Research Register must make their applications online using tcd.ie/courses.
You must make your application for Postgraduate studentship awards in conjunction with your Ph.D. application. This process is done online using tcd.ie/courses.
Nominations are considered at various times of the year depending on the School. New applicants are advised to submit their application as early as possible.
 
Please note that the closing date for applications for this award is the 1st of May 2015.
This closing date covers September 2015 and March 2016 entrants only.

Trinity College Dublin sollicite des candidatures pour bourses de recherche de troisième cycle en Irlande. Cette bourse d'études est ouvert aux étudiants étrangers (hors UE) ou de l'UE. Ces bourses de troisième cycle sont applicables aux nouveaux entrants ainsi que les étudiants enregistrés en doctorat. La bourse d'études de troisième cycle couvre entièrement les frais de l'UE ou hors UE  et un entretien annuel de € 6500 pour trois ans. La date limite d'inscription est le 1 mai 2015.

Aurai-je des obligations d'enseignement?

Le titulaire d'un troisième cycle est requise pour participer à des activités liées à l'enseignement, comme conseillé par le directeur approprié de l'enseignement et de l'apprentissage (troisième cycle) pour un maximum de 6 heures par semaine en terme d'enseignement. Il est également important d'être conscient que les revenus perçus par le récipiendaire du prix d'autres sources (telles que des cours particuliers, financement de la recherche), peut être à la niveau de revenu annuel maximum de € 18 000 hors frais mais y compris le maintien de bourse d'études. La réception d'un financement supplémentaire doit être immédiatement notifiée au Bureau des études supérieures et de la masse salariale du personnel de bureau. Bourses d'études supérieures ne peuvent pas continuer au-delà de la quatrième année de doctorat inscrivez-vous.

Vous devez faire votre demande de bourses de stagiaire de troisième cycle en conjonction avec votre application de doctorat . Ce processus se fait en ligne en utilisant tcd.ie/courses .
Les candidatures sont examinées à différents moments de l'année en fonction de l'école. Les nouveaux candidats sont invités à présenter leur demande le plus tôt possible.
 
Se il vous plaît noter que la date de clôture des candidatures pour ce prix est le 1er mai 2015.
Cette date de clôture couvre Septembre 2015 et Mars 2016 participants seulement.
