Study Subject(s): The eligible fields of study are Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Medicine, Agriculture and Forestry, Veterinary Medicine, social sciences, Law and Economics (no Theology and Arts).
Course Level: The scholarship is available for pursuing doctoral degree program.
Scholarship Provider: The scholarship is mainly funded by VIED-MOET in the financial frame of Project 911 and co-financed by the OeAD – GmbH.

Eligibility:
-Target group 1: Scholarship applicants can be either University staff (public and private universities) or persons proposed by these institutions.
-Target group 2: Graduate students, or applicants have Master’s degree within 12 months prior to the date of application, have aspirations and commitment to the school as a University lecturer.
-Good moral, enough health to study abroad
-Maximum age: 45
-Registration of field of study relevant to academic title of the university and master’s degree
-Proposed letter by University or College which applicants work
-Good knowledge of language for the respective study program has to be proved
-Applicants in target group 1 must have Master’s degree
-Target group 3: have excellent degree and GPA more than 8.0 (on a scale of 10), a contract commitment with University or College after graduation
-Required proof of language proficiency
-For English: B2 certificate or equivalent
-Have University or Master’s degree in country which use English or the language of the host university.

Scholarship Description: Based on the Agreement between the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and
Research (OeAD-GmbH) and the Vietnam International Education Development of the Ministry of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (VIED), the OeAD is proud to announce new joint scholarships for Vietnamese students at Austrian universities.
Number of award(s): Up to 10 new scholarships per study year are available.
Duration of award(s): Up to 36 months (including 9 months preparatory phase at the beginning).
What does it cover? Monthly grant rate EUR 940 (accident and health insurance as well as accommodation will be organized by the OeAD on demand and costs will be deducted accordingly). Main scholarship funding, including a return airfare to be covered by VIED in frame of Project 911 and co-financed by OeAD – GmbH.
