Eligibility:	1) Eligibility criteria for all CIHR research funding programs apply. The business office of the institution of an eligible Nominated Principal Applicant generally administers CIHR funds. Refer to the Individual Eligibility Requirements regarding the eligibility requirements for individuals and institutions.2) For your application to be eligible:*the Nominated Principal Applicant must be the Vice-President, Research (or equivalent), of an eligible Canadian institution. 3) Eligibility requirements specific to this funding opportunity include the following: *the funds must be used by the Vice-President, Research (or equivalent), to support students, at their institution, who are enrolled in a health professional program leading to licensure. *eligible institutions must show evidence of offering a health professional program(s) that can lead to licensure in Canada. The program(s) must have student enrolment. 4) Students receiving support through this program: *must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; *must be enrolled in an undergraduate program (such as nursing or dental hygiene), graduate program (such as psychology or social work) or health professional program (such as chiropractic medicine) leading to Canadian licensure; *must have completed at least the first year of study in their designated program; *must not currently hold a CIHR award or any other federal source of funding; *must work under the supervision of an individual holder of operating and/or salary funds obtained through a competitive peer review process.
