| Each year the Department of International Affairs - Institut Pasteur International Network allocates funding to promote and aid completion of doctoral theses for both French and foreign scientists in institutes of the Institut Pasteur International Network located outside mainland France.  Funding for completion of a doctoral thesis within the Institut Pasteur International Network : Calmette and Yersin program | | Themes: | The research topic can be related to any theme developed in laboratories at International Network institutes, such as infectious diseases (infectious pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, epidemiology, virology, parasitology), and public health activities (diagnosis, surveillance, resistance, etc.). | | Organization: | Doctoral grants aim to promote mobility opportunities for young scientists. The doctoral internship should therefore be completed outside their home country or the country where they attended university. Doctoral students should be enrolled at the doctoral school to which the host laboratory is affiliated, which can belong to a university in France or abroad. | | Qualifications: | The applicant should hold a Masters degree or equivalent diploma (completion of 5 years of higher education). Applicants who have already begun their thesis may not apply. | | Length: | 3 years | | Nationality: | The program is open to all nationalities | | Funding: | Funding covers living and insurance expenses (€1,400 net per month). One return fare between the home country and internship location is also funded. | | Call for applications: | One call for applications per year from January to the beginning of September. |
Assessment criteria A Selection Committee allocates doctoral grants based on the project's relevance, the internship objectives and the application itself. The first step is to find a host laboratory in the Institut Pasteur International Network (not exhaustive).
IMPORTANT: before submitting his application, the candidate must imperatively define, with the host laboratory, scientific project and starting date of the training. Submission of applications ScheduleOne call for applications per year :

| Bourses doctorales La Direction internationale - Réseau International des Instituts Pasteur offre chaque année des financements pour promouvoir et faciliter la réalisation de thèses de chercheurs français et étrangers au sein d'un institut du RIIP hors France métropolitaine. | Financement pour réaliser une thèse au sein du Réseau International des Instituts Pasteur : Programme Calmette et Yersin | | Objectif : | La Division International de l’Institut Pasteur attribue des financements (deux par an) pour promouvoir et faciliter la réalisation de thèses de chercheurs français et étrangers au sein d'un institut du Réseau International des Instituts Pasteur (RIIP) hors France métropolitaine. | | Thématiques : | Le sujet de la thèse peut porter sur toutes les thématiques développées dans les laboratoires des instituts du RIIP : recherche sur les maladies infectieuses (physiopathologie infectieuse, immunologie, microbiologie, épidémiologie, virologie, parasitologie) et activités de santé publique (diagnostic, surveillance, résistance, etc.) | | Organisation : | Ces bourses doctorales visent à promouvoir la mobilité des jeunes scientifiques; le stage de doctorat doit donc être réalisé hors du pays d'origine ou du pays dans lequel les études universitaires ont été réalisées. Les doctorants doivent être inscrits à une université française ou étrangère (locale ou autre) dans l'école doctorale à laquelle est affiliée le laboratoire d'accueil. | | Qualification : | Le candidat doit être titulaire d’un Master2 ou d’un diplôme équivalent. Critères dévaluationUn Comité de Sélection décidera de l’attribution de ces financements doctoraux en fonction de la pertinence du projet, des objectifs du stage et du dossier des candidats.
La première étape consiste à trouver un laboratoire d'accueil dans le RIIP (non exhaustif).
IMPORTANT : avant de soumettre sa candidature, le candidat doit impérativement définir, conjointement avec son laboratoire d'accueil, son projet scientifique et sa date de début de stage. Soumission des candidatures CalendrierUn appel d’offre par an :
- Appel à propositions de stages doctoraux : fin janvier
- Appel à candidature : fin mars
- Date limite de candidatures : 30 septembre
- Réunion du Comité de sélection : début octobre
