Radboud Scholarships for Master’s Students at Radboud University, Netherlands

The Radboud Scholarship Programme offers a select number of talented prospective non-EEA students the opportunity to receive a scholarship to pursue a complete English-taught Master's degree programme at Radboud University Nijmegen. The Radboud Scholarship Programme is very selective and is only intended for talented students who have obtained outstanding study results and are highly motivated to pursue a Master's degree programme at Radboud University.

Scope of the scholarships

Each year about 25 Radboud Scholarships are awarded to selected talented non-EEA students for the duration of one of the Master's degree programmes listed below:

Level and duration of the scholarship

The scholarship is not an amount of money that you will receive in your bank account, but consists of a partial tuition waiver. The tuition fee will be waived to the level of an EEA student. For example: a grant holder in 2014/2015 will pay a tuition fee of only € 1,906, instead of € 9,570 or € 10,537. In addition the Radboud Scholarship also covers costs such as those for visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance. This amounts to about € 700.
In the case of a two-year programme: to qualify for the grant during the second year, you need to have passed all courses in the first year.

Eligibility requirements

You will only be eligible to obtain a Radboud Scholarship if you:

1. hold a non-EU/EEA passport
   
2. are not eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons
   
3. you have (will obtain) a Bachelor's degree achieved outside the Netherlands and have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands
   
4. have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master's degree programme as stated in the formal letter of admission
   
5. are able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands
   
6. are enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master's degree programme for which the scholarship will be awarded
   

Selection criteria

From the eligible candidates the Radboud Scholarship holders will be selected based on the following criteria:

1. Talent: this means that you must have outstanding study results in your present field of study
   
2. You are expected to be a promising student in your desired field of study at Radboud University
   
3. Proven academic quality and good results of your prior education for example through grades, test scores, publications
   
4. Quality of the recommendations in the two letters of recommendation
   
5. Motivation: based on your motivation letter
   

Application procedure and documents required

The application for admission and the application for the scholarship is fully integrated, there is no separate procedure for the scholarship. You apply for a Radboud Scholarship by indicating during your application for admission that you wish to apply for a Radboud Scholarship. You will then be requested to upload three additional documents: two recommendation letters and a curriculum vitae.

Deadline

You must have finalized your request for admission via our online application system OSIRIS Incoming Students before 1 April 2015.
The faculty selects the grant recipients. You will be informed about the final decision by the International Office with respect to your application for a Radboud Scholarship before the end of May 2016. (date subject to change)

Le Programme de bourses d’études Radboud est très sélective et est uniquement destiné à des étudiants talentueux non-EEE qui ont obtenu des résultats d’étude exceptionnel et sont très motivés à poursuivre le programme d’études de maîtrise à l’Université Radboud.

Niveau et la durée de la bourse

La bourse n’est pas une somme d’argent que vous recevrez dans votre compte de banque, mais consiste en une renonciation partielle des frais de scolarité.
En outre, la Bourse Radboud couvre également les frais tels que ceux de visa, permis de séjour, l’assurance maladie et l’assurance responsabilité. Ce qui revient à environ 700 €.
Dans le cas d’un programme de deux ans: pour bénéficier de la prime au cours de la deuxième année, vous devez avoir réussi tous les cours de la première année.

Procédure et les documents obligatoires de la demande

La demande d’admission et la demande de bourse est entièrement intégrée, il n’existe pas de procédure distincte pour la bourse. Vous postulez pour une bourse Radboud en indiquant lors de votre demande d’admission que vous souhaitez postuler pour une bourse Radboud. Vous serez alors invité à télécharger trois documents supplémentaires: deux lettres de recommandation et un curriculum vitae.

Date limite

Vous devez avoir finalisé votre demande d’admission via notre système de demande en ligne OSIRIS entrant étudiants avant le 1er Avril 2015.
La faculté de sélectionner les bénéficiaires de subventions. Vous serez informé de la décision finale par le Bureau international à l’égard de votre demande de bourse Radboud avant la fin du mois de mai 2016 (date sous réserve de modifications)
