Joseph Lister Scholarships: Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Thailand
We bring together internationally-renowned experts in order to advance research in medical, veterinary and life sciences. For September 2015 academic session our College is offering
5 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards the tuition fee of a one year Masters programme.
Eligibility
The scholarships will be awarded to applicants from Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia*, Mexico or Thailand. They are open to students applying to all programmes within the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow.
The criteria for the scholarships is academic excellence and personal achievement, you must be a conditional or unconditional offer holder in order to be considered. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their application for admission, the Masters programme application form is here.

Who was Joseph Lister?
Joseph Lister, Baron Lister (1827-1912), developed his revolutionary system of antiseptic surgery while Professor of Surgery at the University from 1860 to 1869, find out more.
* Applicants for the MRes Biomedical Science (Vet Sci) joint degree with UPM are not eligible for this scholarship
** Students can only be in receipt of one University scholarship
