Transform Together Scholarships 2014/15
Transform Together Scholarships are exclusively for international students. If you are a high achiever or you believe you can make a significant contribution to our University, please apply.
What do the Transform Together Scholarships cover?
Transform Together Scholarships are available for all full–time taught courses at Sheffield Hallam.

• Postgraduate courses – full fee waiver (100% discount)
  
• Undergraduate courses – 50% fee discount for each year of your degree
  

What is the process?
If you meet the eligibly criteria below, please download the application form (Word 87KB).
If you have not yet applied for a course, please visit our online prospectus to find a course and apply.
The Transform Together Scholarship application deadlines are

• September 2014 start – 31 May 2014
  
• January 2015 start – 1 November 2014
  

Students from South Asia have until 31 July 2014 to submit their scholarship application for September 2014 start.
A panel will review the applications and following a competitive process they will award scholarships to well–qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement on their scholarship application form. You will be notified if you have been successful approximately one month after the deadline.
What happens if I am successful?
Your offer letter will be updated to show the awarded scholarship. After enrolment, you will be invited to a scholarship ceremony to celebrate your achievement. You will also be expected to represent Sheffield Hallam University through various activities during the academic year and after graduation.
What happens if I am not successful?
You could be eligible for an automatic discount of at least £1,000. Find out more.

Are you eligible?
To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must:

• postgraduate only – have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your honours degree and must meet the minimum English and academic entry requirements for your course. Please attach transcripts to scholarship applications
  
• undergraduate only – have achieved or exceeded the English and academic entry requirements for the course
  
• have an offer for a full–time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University starting in 2014/15. If you have not applied for a course, please visit our online prospectus.
  
• be self–funding your studies
  
• be classed as an international student for fees purposes
  
• be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, for example field trips
  

Exclusions
Please note that you can only be awarded one Sheffield Hallam University scholarship or bursary.
Students from partner institutions are not eligible for Transform Together scholarships.
