http://anasr.org/awards  Producing scientific work that pushes the boundaries of science is an intensive process that requires rigorous planning, hard work, commitment and creativity as well as a scientific culture that supports these efforts. Recognising and celebrating contributions that advance scientific knowledge are therefore essential to nurturing and maintaining successful research environments.

To this end, anasr.org is launching the second edition of the Algerian Paper of the Year Awards, an annual award to recognise and celebrate scientific publications across the following research disciplines:

• Biological Sciences
  
• Computer Science & Engineering
  
• Medicine, Pharmacy & Veterinary Sciences
  
• Physical Sciences and Mathematics
  
• Chemical Sciences
  

One paper from each research discipline will be chosen to receive the The Algerian Paper of the Year Award in that particular discipline.

Eligibility Criteria
Submissions for the awards are open to all papers that satisfy the following criteria:

• The bulk of the published work must have been carried out in an Algerian university or research organisation.
  
• Papers must have been published in a peer reviewed journal, magazine or proceedings between the 1 of January 2013 and the 31st of December 2013.
  

Additionally, papers containing work performed in collaboration with organisations outside of Algeria are also accepted.

Submission Guidelines
Papers should be submitted electronically as an email attachment sent to awards@anasr.org, the email should state:

• The discipline under which the paper falls
  
• The title of the journal, magazine or proceedings where the paper has been published
  

Papers can be submitted by their authors or nominated by other individuals not listed as authors on the submitted paper.

Selection Process
The Awards Committee will short list promising papers from the set of papers submitted to each research discipline. Each paper will then be reviewed by a panel of international experts who will judge the merit of each paper based scientific excellence, originality and impact. The panel of experts will be chosen based on the specialism of the papers received and will be announced at a later date.

Important Dates

• Paper submissions and nominations closing date: 15th of February 2014
  
• Shortlisting by the Awards Committee: 7th of March 2014
  
• Expert panel reviews: 7th of March to 10th of April 2014
  
• Winners announcement: 16th of April 2014
  

Awards
The laureates will be awarded a commemoration plaque bearing the name of the authors, the paper's title and the year of the award. Additionally, each author on the paper will receive an award certificate. The winners from each discipline will also be given the excellent opportunity to be featured in an exclusive interview on Inspire Magazine.

The Algerian Paper of the Year Awards offer an opportunity to promote your work whether you are a runner up or the ultimate winner in your discipline. Your work will be judged by high caliber experts in your field of research from renowned universities and so will benefit from a constructive reviewing process.

An article about all the finalists will appear on Inspire Magazine and the potential interviews will further promote the work of the awards laureates to national and international readership, therefore increasing the recognition and visibility of their work, its impact, and open up avenues for potential collaborations with peers from around the world.

جائزة أحسن منشورة علمية جزائرية ، نسخة ٢٠١٣

إن إنتاج الأعمال التي تدفع حدود العلم و توسع دائرته عملية مركّبة تتطلب التخطيط الدقيق والعمل الجاد والالتزام والإبداع، فضلا عن الثقافة العلمية التي تدعم هذه الجهود. من أجل ذلك كان الاحتفاء بالمساهمات التي من شأنها التقدم بالمعرفة و ألوان العلوم ضروريا للحفاظ على نجاح و ازدهار البيئات البحثية التي تنشأ فيها و منها تلك المساهمات.

ولهذه الغاية ، تطلق anasr.org الطبعة الثانية لجائزة أحسن منشورة علمية جزائرية ، جائزة سنوية للاعتراف والاحتفاء بالمنشورات العلمية التي تهتم بالبحث في التخصصات التالية:

• العلوم البيولوجية
  
• علوم الهندسة والإعلام الآلي
  
• العلوم الطبية، الصيدلانية و البيطرية
  
• العلوم الفيزيائية و الرياضيات
  
• العلوم الكيميائية
  

وسيتم اختيار منشورة واحدة من كل تخصص للتتويج بلقب أحسن منشورة علمية جزائرية.

معايير الأهلية
 
باب الحصول على الجوائز مفتوح لجميع المنشورات التي تستوفي للمعايير التالية:

• يجب أن يكون الجزء الأكبر من الأعمال المنشورة قد أجري في إحدى الجامعات أو معاهد البحث الجزائرية.
  
• يجب أن تكون البحوث المترشحة قد نشرت في مجلة متخصصة، أو مجلات أو مؤتمرات بين الفاتح من جانفي ٢٠١٣ و ٣١ ديسمبر ٢٠١٣
  

بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيتم قبول الأعمال التي تم إنجازها بالتعاون مع منظمات خارج الجزائر.

المبادئ التوجيهية للترشح
 
ترسل المنشورات كمرفق عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى: awards@anasr.org، و ينبغي أن يتضمن البريد الإلكتروني ما يلي

• الاختصاص
  
• عنوان المجلة التي تم نشر البحث على صفحاتها
  

يمكن ترشيح البحوث من طرف أصحابها أو من طرف أفراد لم ترد أسماؤهم كمؤلفين.

عملية الاختيار

ستقوم لجنة الجوائز بإعداد قوائم تضم أبرز المنشورات من بين مجموعة البحوث المرشحة التي قدمت في كل تخصص. وبعد ذلك تتم مراجعة كل بحث من قبل لجنة من الخبراء الدوليين الذين سوف يحكمون على جدارة المنشورات العلمية استنادا لمعايير ثلاثة: التميز والأصالة والتأثير. سيتم اختيار فريق الخبراء على أساس تخصصات المنشورات المرشحة، و سيتم الإعلان عن أسمائهم في وقت لاحق.

تواريخ هامة 

• يتم إيداع الترشيحات في أجل أقصاه تاريخ: ١٥ فبراير ٢٠١٤.
  
• تقوم لجنة الجوائز بإعداد قوائم أبرز البحوث في أجل أقصاه تاريخ: ٧ مارس ٢٠١٤.
  
• تقوم فرق الخبراء بمراجعة البحوث المترشحة بين تاريخ ٧ مارس ٢٠١٤ و ١٠ أبريل ٢٠١٤.
  
• يتم الإعلان عن البحوث الفائزة بجائزة أحسن منشورة علمية جزائرية بتاريخ: ١٦ أبريل ٢٠١٤.
  

الجوائز

يمنح الفائزون لوحة تذكارية تحمل اسم الكاتب، عنوان المشورة وسنة التتويج بجائزة أحسن منشورة علمية جزائرية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإن كل مؤلف ورد اسمه في البحث يتلقى شهادة تتويج. كما يمنح الفائزون من كل تخصص فرصة ممتازة لإجراء لقاء خاص على المجلة العلمية Inspire Magazine
